The CNGS Parent Association (fundraising body) is required to present audited financial statements on a yearly basis to uphold our Alberta Society status. We are looking for two individuals who would be willing to review our financials between the fiscal year end of March 31 and our Association’s scheduled AGM on April 16, 2019. Traffic Education
The CNGS Parent Association has been awarded a $5000 grant to assist with traffic education at the school. We would like to gather a small group of interested people to drive some of the projects for 2019. If you are interested in being involved, please contact Angela at parentassoc.cngs@gmail.com
Casino Volunteers Needed!
On June 14th and 15th, 2019, we will be working at Casino Calgary to raise funds that help to enhance our children’s education. Our previous casino raised over $70,000.00. All funds raised went to benefit our children in the following ways; Sporting Programs, Investment in Technology, Artists in Residence, Whole School Performances, Music, Learning Commons Resources, Educational Support and Donations. On December 6th we will be providing a Staff Appreciation dinner for our wonderful teaching staff at CNG. School Council will be providing dinner, however please see the link below to sign up for any ‘extras’ you may be able to provide to make this event complete!

Captain Nichola Goddard School is very excited to be participating in a joint fundraiser with Panorama Hills School this year. We will be offering Davison Orchard Apples. You might have already received the order form in your students back pack, or will be receiving it soon. Unfortunately, we just got some news from the Orchard that the Honeycrisp variety is not available due to a crop shortage. When placing your order, please do not select this variety. We are so happy that they will still be able to offer us Gala, Ambrosia, and the Okanagan Blend. These apples are fresh, tasty and amazing to add to your students lunch or snack! Don’t miss out. Make sure to get your order in by Thursday, October 4, 2018.
Monies raised will go to the general account with the Parent fundraising Association at CNG. These funds are used to provide student enhancements throughout the year, based on school requests. Items that have been purchased in the past include additional technology resources, musical instruments, books, and supplies for drama, art, construction, physical education and mathematics.
Please join us for the first School Council meeting of the year, followed by a Parent Association general meeting (fundraising).
