CNG School Council
Established in 1995 under the School Act, Alberta Education defines school councils as a collective association of parents, secondary students, principal, teachers, and community representative(s) whose purpose is to advise the principal and the Board of Trustees respecting matters related to the school. School councils have legislated advisory and decision-making authority defined within the School Act and the School Councils Regulation 113/2007.

CNGS Parent Association
The CNGS Parent Association’s main function is to raise funds for school enhancements to benefit all our students. Items that have been purchased in the past include additional technology resources, musical instruments, books, and supplies for drama, art, construction, physical education and mathematics. The main fundraiser has been the casino event, but multiple smaller fundraisers have also occurred.
Meetings are held in conjunction with the School Council.
VOLUNTEERS
Please consider volunteering your time for the school!! It can be in the form of a position on Council or Association, helping with specific events or just coming to a meeting! If you have any questions, please do not hesitate in contacting us!
